Meet The Doctors

DR Sanjay Bhargava


Dr Sanjay Bhargava is a Post Graduate Doctor in Respiratory Medicine and has been working in Australia for 15 years in various hospitals and GP centres. He completed his basic physician training at St. George Hospital, followed by advanced training in Geriatrics at Wollongong Hospital.

Dr. Jay has also worked as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Wollongong. He is a believer in holistic medicine and enjoys all facets of general practice.

In his spare time, Dr Jay enjoys playing badminton and spending time with his family and friends.



Dr Aase Pacey graduated from Umea University, Sweden in 1999 and she has been practicing as a General Practitioner since 2012 around the Illawarra.  

In 2001 Dr Aase commenced as a general surgeon and continued training as a kidney transplant surgeon.

In 2005 Dr Aase made the lifestyle choice to general practice which suited her growing family but also provided the job satisfaction of being able to treat patients with different health needs which enables her to provide more of a holistic approach to patients.

In her time away from the practice, Dr Aase enjoys sewing and furniture restorations at home.

Dr Ritu Sharma is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners has been working in the medical field for over 20 years. She worked across India and in the United Kingdom for several years before moving to Australia in 2014.

Aneesa is a Podiatrist who completed her Podiatry training at the University of Newcastle. She enjoys all aspects of Podiatry, which involves treating patients of all walks of life. She takes extra care to diagnose and treat any lower limb related pain to get patients back on their feet.

While Aneesa was completing her studies, she would use her time during summer holidays to look after her grandma and gain Podiatric surgical insight from a Doctor of Podiatry in America. In 2019 she completed a placement with Campbelltown Public Hospital. This allowed her to gain insight and hands on experience with the identification and management of Diabetes related wound and foot care. 

Before coming across Podiatry, she completed a Bachelor in Medical Science majoring in Anatomy and Physiology at Western Sydney University. Aneesa is continually learning to ensure she gives all her patients the best lower limb treatment. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. 

Warrawong Dietician



Dionne is a qualified Australian Practicing Dietitian (APD), completing a Bachelor of Nutrition Science and a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Wollongong.

Dionne is an evidence-based dietitian, using nutrition as part of a holistic approach to healthcare. She has an interest in helping people manage and prevent chronic disease, improving their general health through nutrition and building healthy habits.  

Dionne has a particular interest, and passion, in helping people take a proactive approach to their health by creating healthy eating practices and positive relationships with food. Dionne has experience in weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, disordered eating, gut health and more! Dionne is also trained in the use of low FODMAP diet for IBS, by Monash University. 

Dionne brings a positive, and realistic approach to food and nutrition, and enjoys working with clients, providing individually tailored and practical advice to take control of their health. 

MAX carter

Exercise Physiologist

Max is an Exercise Physiologist who is also trained in myofascial release. He does exercise prescription for injury, strengthening, and to improve health and fitness and hydrotherapy.

Max brings his own highly motivated approach to the practice and loves working with patients to help assess and manage their condition through individually tailored exercise and fitness regimens. 

naomie anderson


Naomie is a Registered Psychologist who has worked for over 30 years with children, adolescents, families, and adults in educational, child protection and private practice sectors.

Naomie sees clients who present with a range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, anger management, stress management, grief, as well as work, school, and relationship difficulties.

Naomie is also a certified relationship counsellor who uses the Gottman Therapy as a basis for her interventions to assist couples who are experiencing difficulties within their relationships.

Naomie is competent in a range of psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. She also sees clients under the worker’s compensation system.

Naomie uses a warm, caring and evidence-based approach that is tailored to each client.



Clinical Psychologist

Bernie is a Clinical Psychologist, having completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and a Masters of Psychology (Clinical), both at the University of Wollongong. He has further obtained a post graduate Clinical endorsement by completing a 2 year Registrar program.

Bernie has specialist experience in assisting adults who have been in acute crisis, or have been enduring chronic, complex psychological symptoms, or are adjusting to the impact of medical conditions/procedures upon their life.

Bernie’s experience over the last 10 years has been focused on psychiatric and medical rehabilitation. In addressing the psychological and behavioural symptoms experienced in those settings, his therapeutic approach draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Bernie is very experienced in helping adults cope with the symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, psychosis, grief, life stress, distress intolerance, adjustment issues, and the impact of trauma.

King Street Medical is conveniently located at 67 King Street, Warrawong, next to Warrawong Library and Plush Furniture.

We have plenty of parking available on Carlotta Cres, at the northern end of Darcy Wentworth Park. Our practice is located at the corner of King Street & Hoskins Avenue.
