Veneers

Transform your smile with natural, long-lasting veneers

At King Street Dental, we know that everyone wants their smile to look it’s best. Porcelain veneers are a fantastic way to improve the look of your teeth, giving you a more confident one of a kind smile.

What Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers (often called porcelain veneers) are ultra-thin custom-made shells made to cover the front of your teeth, giving them a new surface and improving appearance.

Veneers are made from thin porcelain the thickness of a fingernail and designed to cover up imperfections such as stains, gaps, chips, or crooked teeth naturally. Veneers are applied to one or more teeth depending on your preferences.

Porcelain veneers are one of the most common cosmetic dental procedures done today, giving you that Hollywood smile you'll want to show off to the world.

Benefits Of Porcelain Veneers

Dental veneers have a wide range of cosmetic and functional benefits including solutions for teeth that are:

//  Worn-down

//  Crooked, cracked, or chipped

//  Misaligned

//  Gapped

//  Stained or discoloured

Our Dental Veneer Procedure

Dental veneers will typically require three visits to the dentist.

The first visit involves a consultation to discuss your desired results, and an examination to determine if your teeth will support the veneers.

On the next visit, your dentist will numb the area and slightly file back your teeth and make an impression for the veneers.

Your custom impressions are sent off to the lab to be made into your veneers and 2-4 weeks later you’ll return for the fitting. You can talk to your dentist about temporary resin veneers while you wait.

On your final visit, your King Street Dentist will bond the custom-made veneers to your teeth using a special dental cement.  Once in their correct position, a light beam hardens the cement to securely bond the veneers to your teeth.

How Long Do Dental Veneers Last?

Veneers can last anywhere from 10-25 years depending on how well you look after them. The bond is very strong, but anything that would damage a natural tooth such as an impact or improper oral care could damage the veneer as well.

How Much Do Dental Veneers Cost?

As with many dental procedures, the exact cost can vary greatly depending on several factors. At King Street Dental, we know that no two smiles are the same. We treat every smile with a personalised approach, ensuring that you get customised treatment to match your preferences, budget, and needs.

At King Street Dental, we have a wealth of knowledge to help you through every step of the dental veneer process. If you’re a little unsure if veneers are right for you, give us a call and book in your free consultation with one of our trained dental experts.
